UKIP Spokesmen Mike Hookem has raised concerns about another full scale Iraq war
UKIP’s Defence Spokesman, Mike Hookem, has today expressed “serious concerns” about the possibility of mission creep, following the Government’s decision to reinforce British armed forces in Iraq.
Mike Hookem stated: “I am extremely concerned about the potential of mission creep; where we go from a supporting role to a full fighting role without properly considering the consequences. Any role our armed forces are committed to must be properly defined and time limited to make sure we don’t inadvertently get dragged into a third war in Iraq.”
